Buttermilk simple and delicate muffins

From the buttermilk series, these muffins are the best surprise for me: I needed a bit of courage to make them so simple, but the result was so delicate, fresh and beautifully delicious.

Temperature time airfryer: 4 min at 200 C, 11 min at 165 C

Ingredients

  • 35 g of room temperature butter
  • 30 g of white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g of buttermilk
  • 180 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Directions

  1. Mix the 35 g of room temperature butter with 30 g of sugar. It seems little, but they are just perfect like that. And you can serve them with jam, if you want later on ;).
  2. Mix in the 1 egg and 200 g of buttermilk.
  3. Add the 18o g of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
  4. Mix until it combines in a smooth dough.
  5. Scoop the dough into 6 muffin shapes.
  6. Bake in the airfryer for 4 min at 200 C and then for 11 min at 165 C.
  7. They are just perfect! Serve them simple, with butter or jam.
