The buttermilk situation continues. I have lots of variation of my airfryer pies and this new one is a very nice and creamy version.
Buttermilk pie with condensed milk
Preparation time: 20 min
Baking time: 25-30 min
Baking temperature: 160 C with in the airfryer

Ingredients
- 50 grams of condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 heaping tablespoon of flour
- 80 grams of buttermilk
- half a teaspoon of vanilla essence
- a pinch of salt
- 1 filo pastry, can be for quiche or puff pastry cookies
- if you want to make your own dough I used for the form: 160 g of flour, 100 g of butter, 1 pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of water. Mix them and let it in the fridge for 30 min. I you want it less caloric, you can use 70 g of butter only, just add 30 g of water extra.
Directions
- Mix 160 g of flour, 100 g of butter, 1 pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of water. Mix them and let it in the fridge for a few min. I you want it less caloric, you can use 70 g of butter only, just add 30 g of water extra.
- Place it in your tray like in the picture and bake it in the airfryer at 160 C for 5 min.
- In the meantime, milk the egg with 50 grams of condensed milk, 80 grams of buttermilk, vanilla essence, one tablespoon of flour and a pinch of salt.
- Pour it in the form an bake in the airfryer at 160 C for 20-50 min.
- Let it cool down completely. Unlike my other pies, this one is better eaten not refrigerated.
