Red wine poached pears

This recipe is a simple idea of dessert. It is easy to start, takes a bit of time, but you do not need to put much effort into it.

I also do not use very specific quantities: use as many pears as you have, add 1-2 glasses of wine and cover the rest with water in a pot. Add sugar to taste and a twig of cinnamon.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 75 min or until the sauce thickens.
