Saffron peach lemonade with basil

For the last day of the summer, I propose a bit of a daring lemonade. Not for everyone’s taste, due to the unusual combination, but exotic and refreshing.

You will need for this lemonade:

  • 1 red teabag, ideally roiboos
  • few threads of saffron
  • 1 peach
  • a tsp of honey (optional)
  • a squeeze of lemon
  • vanilla essence
  • basil leaves
  • ice cubes

Let the saffron infuse tea to cool down.

Add in the honey, vanilla essence and lemon and mix well. Add the peach and ice cube and, finally, the basil leaves.

Now you are ready to enjoy it!
