Tartar sauce potatoes with onion and egg

This tartar sauce potatoes recipe with onion and egg is a simple side dish, goes really great next to any schnitzel and is really flavorful, too.

At first glance it looks like it is mayonnaise, but just better: with sour cream. This sauce is really popular in central Europe and it should not be confused with the American version with pickles and dill.
