Perfect snack for winter – baked chickpeas

Baked chickpeas can be a great and healthy snack to munch on during the long winter evenings. It is not difficult to make, though it needs at least 30 min of baking and requires some cleaning after that, since some of them explode during this process.

But if you make in a big batch it will last you a few days.

After you pat dry the canned chickpeas, toss some olive oil on them and salt and your favorite spices. Curry. thyme, basil, chili flakes, papika, turmeric, garlic… anything, really.

Bake them for 30 min at 220 C, rotating the tray in the middle and making sure in the last minutes they won’t get burned.
